Day 21

Louisville

September 1st 2012:

Goodbye Atlanta, goodbye Luther King. The majority of my relatives are baptists, like him. I was raise in that faith too. Until today we have shared with people of many religions: Catholics, Protestants,Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists...everybody responded to the call of the poet Sicilia.

On the road to Louisville

Javier Sicilia

He awaits for a surprise; compares the caravan to a pregnant woman whose baby will born in 11 days more in Washington D.C. For the poet nothing will substitute the dead of his son; however, this pacific crusade, almost mystic, has as its main role to make a new hope to be born. This will be the daughter of those who feel compassion, in U.S.A. as well as in Mexico.
