I was about to sleep on the concrete floor of Southside church when Maru proposed to lodge me. On the way to her house, Maru speaks very bad about Arizona’s state. She must pay taxes for prisons where her compatriots are exploited and humiliated, while her daughter must pay 40 000 dollars for her degree. According to her, authorities prefer Mexicans sink into drugs and crime, keeping them away of a better social status.
Crossing the desert

A shower, a night in a good bed and hère we are on the road again, heading to New Mexico where we have a meeting at Las Cruces in the afternoon.
Short meeting, lunch on the grass and the road again. New crossing of the desert , interrupted just by the "Border patrol" known as "La migra" by my compatriots. We arrive at Albuquerque at night.
